Guido
This request was sent in by Greg but the image was titled "guido" so that's what I titled this post. The image is rather tiny. 155 x 119 pixels tiny. That's why I decided to make the sketch tiny. I used an ultra-fine Micron pen. Sometimes I work really big and shrink it all down. Other times I work tiny and then enlarge it. Differences in scale sometimes yield nifty results.

Posting Problems
No new posts since Friday? What gives?
Yes, rarely does a day go by where there isn't at least one new requested sketch posted here on sketch-it. The fact that this post has made it up here is a bit of a surprise though. Blogger has been acting persnickety lately.

Highland Cow
A CUNNINGHAM requested "A head and shoulders cartoon of a highland cow, with the large horns made to look like a viking helmet. Some kind of quirky grin about the mouth (eyes not visible under hair), and 'HHH' emblazoned on" the text stopped there... so I don't know what the rest was supposed to say...

Susan's request read "I'd like a cartoon style (cute/kawaii/anime whatever) sketch of some birds hanging out and reading the newspaper. Or something "intelligent" like that. I've got a group blog called "cultural canaries" and I'd like to post the sketch there, possibly in the sidebar (so narrow and long is better than flat and wide)."
