This one goes all the way back to 1985 people. In my home town of KC, the phone books had these funny drawings of scenes from around the city with little people doing silly things. One year the location was the Truman Sports Complex and another year it was the Country Club Plaza.
I thought I'd be a rebel and give the same treatment to my high school, Bishop Miege. Note the storm cloud. It's over where the principal's office was. The billowing cloud of smoke is coming out of a hole in the school where the chemistry lab used to be.
If anyone out there remembers the artwork on those phone books, please leave me a comment here. I'd love to give props to that artist who inspired me.
